Billing Specialists, Inc. (BSI) is a privately owned North Carolina Corporation. Since our inception in 2003, BSI has been the innovator in the DME and medical supply industry in North Carolina. We were the originator of providing incontinence supplies to assisted living communities in North Carolina. We work with assisted living facilities, nursing facilities, and group homes to provide medical supplies and equipment. BSI has been providing exceptional service for over 17 years.
Durable Medical Equipment Covered by Medicare and Private Insurance
Types of durable medical equipment we provide:
- commodes
- hospital beds and mattresses
- manual wheelchairs
- rollators
- walkers
To be able to provide durable medical equipment in North Carolina and bill Medicare, private insurance we will need the following:
- face sheet
- FL2
- doctor’s order
- insurance information

Incontinence Supplies Covered by North Carolina Medicaid
North Carolina Medicaid covers incontinent products for adults who are incontinent due to disease, illness or injury. An order and CMN signed by a physician must be obtained for us to bill for the supplies.
BSI provides a variety of quality incontinence products. Below is a listing of products we provide along with the quantities allowed by Medicaid. Quantities are determined by how many changes a day a patient requires.
- Adult Protective Underwear/Pullups (Up to 200 allowed per month)
- Adult Briefs (Up to 192 allowed per month)
- Underpads (Up to 150 per month)
- Vinyl Gloves (Up to 4 boxes per month)
